Yes, the campaign is still accepting contributions. We pushed hard and left nothing on the table running up to the June election. With the focus on getting the word out then, there is still work to be done now to pay off outstanding campaign costs.

Campaign finance reform is desperately needed. Covina politicians have a history of lining their pockets with money from developers and utilities. It creates distrust in the system and shows the need for a full overhaul. Many politicians spend more time fundraising than working for their constituents. 

This campaign is about doing things differently. That starts with how the campaign is funded. 

I'm voluntarily accepting the strictest limits, and urge Covina and other municipalities to adopt similar policies for all candidates. 

I do accept contributions from: 

- Individuals donors as allowed by law. 

Those who reside in the city, or have other potential conflicts of interest in the outcome of city policy matters (property or business in the city etc)  will be limited to  a maximum contribution of $99  

- Grassroots funded groups including Cause Advocates, Political Clubs, and Action Committees

I do not accept contributions from:

- Any corporation,  developer, or utility  

- Corporate funded Groups, Political Clubs, and Action Committees

How else to get involved 

Thank you to all of our Block Captains, Canvassers, Event Hosts and other volunteers. At this time with the vote complete, the campaign in no longer actively seeking volunteers. 

I do hope everyone takes the time to get involved in one of many important November 2022 races.
